Lovestruck is a private app for two people in a relationship. It is not a chat app. It gives you small, daily ways to stay close: pings, a daily question, love notes, date ideas, time capsules and a shared timeline.

Yes. Lovestruck is free to download on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android. Premium is optional.

The app is in English only for now.

You can sign up with Apple, Google, or an email and password.

Go to Settings and tap "Connect with partner".

One of you taps "Create invite" and shares the 6-character code. The other taps "Join with code", enters the code, and taps "Connect".

Invite codes expire after 24 hours. If yours has expired, create a new invite and share the new code. Check that the code was typed exactly as shown.

Yes. Tap "Explore while you wait" to look around. Anything you save carries over once your partner connects.

Once you are connected, you will see five tabs: Home, Dates, Pings, Timeline and Us.

There is no disconnect button in the app. Email us at team@lovestruckapp.com and we will help. You can also delete your account from Settings.

A ping is a one-tap signal to your partner, like "thinking of you". It is a quick way to say you care without starting a conversation.

On the free plan you can send 10 pings a day, with a 5-second wait between pings. Answering the daily question gives you 2 bonus pings that day.

With Premium, pings are unlimited, there is no wait, and you can create custom pings.

Every day at midnight your local time, you get a new question or poll. You each answer on your own. Once you have both answered, you can see each other's answers. With polls, you can see if your answers match.

No. Answers can't be edited once you send them.

Yes. Go to Settings > Couple and turn off "Text questions". You will then only get polls.

A love note is a short message to your partner, up to 30 characters. It arrives with a special animation.

On the free plan you can send 1 love note every 24 hours. Premium lets you send as many as you like.

No. Love notes can't be deleted once they are sent.

The Love Notes widget shows your partner's latest note. You can add it to your home screen on iPhone and Android. On iPhone, you can also add it to your Lock Screen.

The timeline is a private feed just for the two of you. It shows your pings, answers, love notes, photos, songs and completed dates.

Yes. You can share photos and react or comment on them. You can also share songs with each other. You can delete any photo or song you posted.

On the free plan, each of you can upload 5 photos, and you can view the last 24 hours or the last 7 days of your timeline.

Premium gives you unlimited photos and lets you view the last 30 days or a custom date range.

Swipe right to save an idea, swipe left to skip it, or swipe up to save it as a surprise.

Categories include Restaurants, Bars, Cafés, Activities, Outdoors, At Home and Long Distance. Shows and Live events appear where local event listings are available. No category is locked behind Premium.

Tap the location chip in Date Ideas. You can use your phone's location or pick a city. Your location is only used to find date ideas.

Open Saved Dates and tap an idea, then tap "Plan this date". To add your own idea, tap the + button.

Swipe up on an idea to save it as a surprise. You can give your partner up to 5 hints, and reveal the surprise whenever you like.

A personalized date plan curated by Lovestruck is a full date put together for the two of you.

On the free plan you can preview a plan and see the first stop. Premium gives you 1 full plan per week, with a few edits. Max gives you unlimited plans and edits.

The free plan has daily limits on swipes and saves, and a small number of surprise dates. Premium removes these limits. The app always shows your current limits.

Free couples can add 5 bucket list items. Premium raises this to 50.

A time capsule is something you fill together and open later. Add love letters, photos and songs, and pick an opening date up to 10 years away.

When you are both done, each of you locks the capsule to seal it. On the opening date, you open it together.

On the free plan you can have 1 capsule in progress, with 1 note, 1 photo and 1 song from each of you. Premium lets you have several capsules with unlimited items.

Your streak grows each day you both use the app. That can be answering the daily question, sending a ping, sharing a photo or song, sending a love note, adding to a time capsule, or planning a date.

If either of you misses a day, the streak starts over.

Relationship growth shows how your shared activity adds up over time. Doing things together earns points, and you move through six stages: Spark, Flame, Bonfire, Inferno, Supernova and Eternal.

Tap the progress bar on Home to see all the stages.

The Us tab shows your streak, your relationship growth stage, and what each of you has contributed.

Move together lets you set a shared fitness goal, log workouts, and cheer each other on.

You can also reorder the cards on Home in Settings, and choose which notifications you get in Settings > Notifications.

Premium gives you unlimited pings, love notes, photos, swipes, saves and time capsules, longer timeline history, custom pings, and 1 full personalized date plan per week.

Max includes everything in Premium, plus unlimited personalized date plans and edits.

No. One subscription covers both of you.

Prices depend on your country and app store. You can see the current prices on the Premium screen in the app. Plans are monthly or yearly, and some stores also offer weekly.

A free trial may be offered. If you are eligible, the app will show it on the Premium screen.

Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play, so you cancel there.

On iPhone: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Lovestruck.

On Android: open Google Play, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then Lovestruck.

Go to Settings > Account > Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used to subscribe.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, request one from your Google Play order history.

Go to Settings > Edit Name.

Go to Settings > Delete Account and type DELETE to confirm. This removes your profile and login. It can't be undone.

First, open your phone's Settings and make sure notifications are allowed for Lovestruck. Then open Settings > Notifications in the app and check the types you want are turned on.

Your partner hasn't set their name yet. They can add it in Settings > Edit Name.

Pull down to refresh. If that doesn't help, close and reopen the app. If it is still stuck, log out and log back in.

Codes last 24 hours. Create a new invite and share the new code.

Check your location. Tap the location chip in Date Ideas and update it to where you are, or pick a nearby city.
